Fanaka Lodge and Campsite

Fanaka Lodge and Campsite is a central gateway to major tourist destinations of the northern circuit. Offering Lodge and Camping facilities, it is located in a small township of Mto wa Mbu.

Covering a distance of 130 km and about 1.5 hours drive from Arusha on route to the famous Ngorongoro and Serengeti Parks. Situated at the foot of the Great Rift Valley and near the entrance gate of Lake Manyara National Park at a distance of only 2 km away.

Very centrally located for game drive visits to Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti Parks as well as trips to lakes Eyasi and Natron.

Fanaka offers a variety of rooms based on client demands and size. From standard triple rooms to Standard Twin rooms and Standard Single.

Restaurant

Don’t bother to go out to satisfy your diet, get it at the Lodge. This will also be provided to passengers by tourists.

Be comfortable to enjoy dinner, breakfast, and both hot and packed lunch. Self-catering Kitchens are available, well-furnished, and equipped.

There is a main restaurant enough for 50 to 60 people to be served together.

Camping Facilities

Our camping gardens are named Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara, Tarangire, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, and Mikumi.

We have named our gardens the most beautiful and famous natural attractions in Tanzania so as to give our clients a reflection of what to enjoy on their safaris.

These enlighten our concern for natural resources in Tanzania. Safari Guides and Guests select areas to pitch their tents according to preference or privacy required.

Swimming Pool

A swimming pool is available for free use by guests at their own convenience. Facilities at the swimming pool include changing rooms, shower,s and washrooms as well as necessary provisions for relaxation. A nice small pool for children is available just adjacent to the big pool.
