This is the perfect spot to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, with views of Lake Ndutu in the distance. The camp is open in Ndutu from December to March.

Ang’ata Migration Camp Description

The camp features 12 spacious guest tents, including a family unit with two tents, as well as a lounge and a dining tent.

Each guest tent includes a private bathroom with a shower, a vanity desk, and a flush toilet.

Guests can choose from king-size, twin, or triple beds, based on their preference.

The lounge is a great place to meet other travelers and share stories from your safari, all while enjoying complimentary Tanzanian coffee or tea.

Our chefs prepare fresh breakfasts, lunches, and dinners each day, served in the dining tent. When the weather is good, we light the campfire, known locally as Bush TV.

Where is Ang’ata Migration Camp?

Located just southwest of Lake Ndutu, the camp sits on a ridge above the marsh, offering safe views of wildlife right below.

The camp is 800 meters from Lake Ndutu, 5 kilometers from Lake Masek, and just 10 minutes from the Ndutu Airstrip and Ranger Post. Shamba Maharagi is also close by.

This area, known as the short grass plains south of the Serengeti in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, is where millions of wildebeest gather in February and March.
