Babu’s Camp Mkomazi

It is situated about 20 km from Park’s Headquarters. Babu’s Camp is the park’s semi-permanent tented camp and the only facility offering tourist accommodation.

Mkomazi is virtually untravelled, making Babu’s Camp the ideal destination for discerning guests who prefer peace and solitude while enjoying Africa’s beauty.

Tents

Babu’s Camp has six large canvas safari tents with en-suite facilities. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilets and hot showers.

The Tents are well attended and beautifully set among baobab and acacia trees, and are comfortably furnished with a large hand-carved wooden bed or twin beds, a wardrobe, a changing area, safari chairs, and a writing desk.

Mkomazi not only provides a home to a tremendous variety of wildlife but also symbolizes a traditional East African safari experience: dining under canvas and sundowners around the Campfire.
