Kilima Camp combines all the details of a traditional safari. Sunrise starts, magnificent wildlife, safari sundowners, community, and conservation creating an unforgettable experience from the heights of Oloololo Escarpment.
Location
Kilima Camp is set on top of the Oloololo Escarpment, overlooking the Mara plains below. The camp is 6.5km from Oloololo Gate, the northern entrance of the Mara Triangle.
Setting
Set at an altitude of 1,850m, the camp has spectacular views of the Maasai Mara and Mara river below. Small and intimate, the camp is a home away from home.
Access
The camp is a 40-minute to 60-minute flight from Nairobi, Wilson Airport. Driving to camp is a six-hour drive from Nairobi.
Direct daily flights to/from Mombasa/Diani. The closest airstrip is Kichwa Tembo, approximately a 15-minute drive from camp.
Accomodation
12 classic tents (70m² including veranda) & 3 Deluxe tents (75-85m² including veranda). Some Classic tents can accommodate 2 adults & 2 children below 12yrs.
Deluxe Family tent can accommodate 2 adults & 2 children plus infant – possibility to add an extra bed – subject to availability.
All tents have a terrace with stunning views over the Mara plains.
They all have en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets & hot running showers.
