Ang’ata Migration Camp

A large camp with 12 large Guest tents including a 2 tent Family unit, a lounge, and a dining tent.

Each guest tent has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, vanity desk, and flush toilets. Depending on request a Kingsize bed or 2 Twin beds or triples are available.

The lounge is where you can meet other travelers. You can share your Safari stories there. You can enjoy complimentary Tanzanian Coffee or Tea.

Your Chefs prepare breakfasts, lunches, and dinners daily in the dining tent. Bush TV (local name for campfire) is lit when the weather permits.

Where is Ang’ata Migration Camp?

Ang’ata Migration camp is located near the Bologonja Ranger Post. It is an hour’s drive away from Mara River. At Mara River, you can witness the world-famous River Crossing. Nile Crocodiles lie in ambush and Big Cats wait on the shores. The Migration happens from July to October.

You will see thousands of Wildebeest in front of a big plain. You can enjoy your cup of tea in front of your tent.

Things to do at Ang’ata Migration Camp

To witness the Migration on Mara River’s shores, you can take an early morning Hot Air Balloon ride. Before your Game Drive, take the ride. Ballooning is to be booked in advance via our reservation. Please contact us for pricing and details.
