Zanzibar Palace Hotel is an exclusive boutique hotel located in the heart of Stone Town, Zanzibar.

They have three rooms on each of the three floors. Above all, our nine rooms are distinct, and in each, our guests find traces of Zanzibar’s rich history, reflected in a mix of Arabian, Indian, and English design.

The unique atmosphere makes it a perfect place to unwind.

Rooms and Suites

Luxury Rooms. As an entry-level room type, this option is a good choice for those who want to enjoy the hotel’s full facilities and services on a more modest budget.

The bedroom measures 20 m2 and includes a double bed, a built-in wardrobe, and a seating area.

They will strike you with the vivid colors of their incredible local decorations, and they still offer all modern comforts.

The en-suite bathroom (3 m2) includes a washbasin, shower, and toilet. The room size is 23 m². It accommodates two adults and does not offer a twin option or an additional bed.

Romantic Suites

These suites feature a romantic setup and are ideal for couples looking to enjoy a special time together.

Couples and honeymooners, be aware that in this suite, you will fall in love all over again! These large, open rooms have a romantic, intimate setup.

The open-plan bathroom with a huge bath (big enough for two) makes it perfect for couples.

The room comes with a double bed, a built-in wardrobe, and a seating area.

In addition, the lovely private balcony (11m2), is ideal to enjoy a snack, relax and watch the world go by.

The room size is 48 m². It accommodates two adults and does not offer a twin option or an additional bed.

Grand Suites

These Suites are apartment-style and consist of three parts: the entrance is a large hallway/lounge (13 m2), followed by a separate superb bathroom (15 m2) with a large bathtub, washbasin, toilet, and open cabinet.

Further along is the bedroom (20 m2), with a double bed and a wide single bed, and a seating area with a TV corner.

Ideal for Family and Friends who travel together and still want to enjoy the space. The room measures 48 m² and accommodates 3 adults. There is a Twin option, and an additional bed is available.

Signature Suite – Arabica

The Signature Suite is unique in its atmosphere: we named it after its Arabic-inspired decor, which inspired the room’s name.

This room has a double bed, a seating area, and a semi-open-plan bathroom (15 m2) with a large shower, two washbasins, a toilet, and a dresser.

The cozy private balcony (5 m2) offers an excellent view of Stone Town’s rooftops. This Suite offers modern facilities while still giving you the authentic feel of being in a ‘different world’.

The room measures 47 m² and accommodates two adults; an additional bed is available.

Honeymoon Suite – Dunia

If you want something special and unique, then this Suite is for you!
Dunia means the world in Arabic and Swahili, and as soon as you enter this Suite, you will feel in your own, special world.

This spacious suite (69m2, on the 3rd floor) has antique Zanzibar furniture, a high king-size Sultan’s bed, and a lounge corner.

There are two balcony areas. The first balcony with a view of the city is adjacent to the bedroom, whilst the other area can be found one extra floor up (4th floor) on the rooftop.

On the rooftop terrace, there is an impressive outdoor bathroom (18 m2) with a supersized Sultan’s bathtub, shower, and toilet.

In addition, the terrace features a private sundeck (6m2) overlooking the rooftops of Stone Town.

This suite is perfect for couples, honeymooners, or anyone who wants to experience such a unique room!

Palace Suite – Sherali

This spacious suite (67 m2) on the 3rd floor is elegantly decorated in a Victorian/Zanzibar style. It offers views of the ocean and the picturesque Stone Town.

As a result, the sea breeze cools it down day and night. This suite has a double bed, two impressive fauteuils, and an antique make-up table.

The semi-open bathroom (22 m2) features a romantic bathtub for relaxation, a shower, a double washbasin, a double wardrobe, and a separate toilet.

As a result, it is a dream of beauty, luxury, and comfort: a wonderful place to stay.

The room size is 67 m² and accommodates two adults. It is possible to add an extra bed.
