Sultan Sands is located on the beachfront and overlooks the Indian Ocean. It has traditional African-style cabins with a balcony or terrace. It also has a buffet restaurant and a bar with a terrace, sun loungers, and views of the pool.

All cottages are decorated with furniture from Zanzibar and feature air conditioning, a seating area with a flat-screen satellite TV, a minibar, and a private bathroom. Some cabins are located by the sea.

Sultan Sands Island Resort has 2 restaurants, which serve their dishes on the beach or by the pool. A daily breakfast buffet and the option of having breakfast in the room are offered. Guests can relax with a massage in the spa center or go snorkeling, windsurfing, or tennis. The resort’s tour desk offers bicycle and car rental services.

The historic center of Stone Town is 39 km away and the Zanzibar International Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Sultan.

Junior Suite. This is a double room with a balcony, a private entrance, and air conditioning.
