Honey Badger Lodge

The Honey Badger lodge is situated just 6kms out of Moshi town on the Moshi to Dar es Salaam road.

The swimming pool and lush spacious grounds provide guests with a lovely natural relaxing environment.

The gardens host an abundance of local flora and fauna.

We welcome you to wander around and enjoy the colorful plants, the birdlife, the monkeys, and the African Leopard Tortoises ( more than 20!).

Their location enables guests to experience rural life and feel more in touch with the country they are visiting.

With our 24-hour reception there is always someone on hand should you require assistance.

They offer a range of different accommodation options to suit everyone’s needs.

They have en suite lodge rooms ideal for individuals, couples, and families. Also, can cater to large groups (8+ people) and we have years of experience in putting bespoke packages together.

Accommodation

Single/Double/Triple en-suite rooms

They have nine en-suite rooms that can be either single, doubles, or triples.

Each room contains a mix of single, queen, or king-size four-poster beds.

All the rooms look out into our luscious gardens and many of them have their private balconies.

Large Family Rooms

They have five large family rooms that can sleep a family of five.

These ensuite rooms have a mixture of large four-poster double beds and smaller children’s beds (all with mosquito nets), a four-poster cot can also be provided on request (subject to availability).

Honey Badger is a family-friendly lodge, and we enjoy hosting parents and their children. Please contact us if you have any special requirements for your children.

Dorm style rooms

Five of our rooms are situated in the Old Renju family home. These rooms double up as dorm rooms and can sleep groups of up to 28 people in a bunk bed-style arrangement.

There are three bathrooms in the house as well as a dining area and an outside veranda.

There are four small ensuite rooms situated next to the main house that are ideal for chaperones for large groups.

Honey Badger has years of experience in organizing accommodation, trips, and volunteering activities for large groups.
