When we sent our complaint by whatssap and by email to 3 different email addresses, no one addressed or replied to our complaint, however when this was posted on tripadvisor a reply was sent within a day. This already show non-professionalism but that the reply was only given to try and cover up the mistakes done by this company and instead trying to put the blame on us.2. Day 1 - the miscommunication with the lodge could have been sorted had blessing safari checked that all thr documentation was sent to the gate from the Lodge’s end. The negotiations were finalized before the trip, and we had agreed on the prices and accommodation, so there were no changes from our side to the itinerary. Regarding the visit to the Maasai village that Moses mentioned, he had informed us on the first day that it was part of the schedule. It wasn’t something we requested or added during the trip. However, due to a delay on the first day, he told us that we would visit the village the next morning. Unfortunately, on the second day, we experienced another delay because we had to go to a mechanic. This issue, which may not have been reported to the company, cost us over an hour as we waited for the mechanic to fix and secure the vehicle’s tank, which was hanging loosely.It seemed Moses was going to skip the Maasai visit, as he didn’t mention it again until we inquired about it. Additionally, we were charged an extra USD 50 for the Maasai visit, a cost that Moses never mentioned when he initially said he was going to take us there on the first day. Change of plans was due to us arriving very late at the lodge since the whole day started late due to the mechanic incident.3. Day 3 was not a result of miscommunication with the guide, but rather a mistake on your part due to insufficient preparation before our trip. Because of this error, we had to change our plans at the last minute, resulting in the loss of our morning game drive. Additionally, we had to deal with an angry driver who drove recklessly, putting our safety at risk—despite your claims that such behavior is against your ethics. Unfortunately, we experienced this unsafe situation for several hours on the final day.4. We paid lahia and we were supposed to eat lunch at the lodge, hoever against due to the change of plans which we had to do, we had to leave early hence why we were given left overs from the breakfast. The previous day we were given food for lunch which the other lodge prepared for us. The change of plans whould have been communicated from Moses and he should have asked them to prepare the lunch we had paid and were supposed to take there but instead we would have taken it take away. This again was not done and we were left with these left overs and hungry. Regarding the check-out time extra, this was all agreed before the trip and was supposed to be arranged from your side, again we never changed plans from the original itinery so that is not an acceptable excuse.5. Our flight was at 2.25am so I cannot understand how saying that dropping us at 9.45pm at the airport was 3 hours before! When at the airport the check-in opens 3 hours before and you knew that there was not even anywhere for us to eat downstairs. So this again is an absurd reply!6. You are absolutely not the one to judge the driver s behavior because you were not with us all day in the jeep. Having said all this, all you tried to do in your reply is put the blame on us instead of accepting your mistakes and compensate us for this terrible experience.The conclusion is that out of our 3 day safari two days started with a delay and the third we had to make up with an angry driver as if anything was our fault!!! BLESSING SAFARI NEVER AGAIN!已验证 Terrible Experience The below complaint was sent to the company by WhatsApp and by email (to 3 different email addresses) but we received no reply whatsoever from them.Before we booked, the guy we were talking to used to send us almost everyday to confirm and close the deal, now that we sent him the complaint message is still unseen.Please consider this as a formal complaint on behalf of all the group who were participating in the Safari package between the 1-3rd September, 2024. As you are aware, we had been communicating with your kind self for quite a long time and thus our desires from this tour were made more than clear. The safari tour booked costs quite a lumpsum of money and therefore the least one would expect is a professional service from the chosen company. To our disappointment, the service we were provided with was not professional on many counts. Hereunder are a few incidents that happened during our three day tour. In our opinion such incidents could have easily been avoided by someone who claims to be professional in the area with years of experience. 1. On day one we were ready to start the tour. The driver, Moses asked us to wait and he went to the gate to quickly obtain clearance to enter the conservation area. An hour later, we were still in the car waiting as we were informed that there were hitches in the system and clearance could not be granted. If Blessings Safari had ensured that everything was in order prior to our arrival at the gate, such time would have been saved. 2. On the second day we had bearly started the trip when we were informed again by Moses that something was wrong with the car. We were taken to the mechanic and Moses promised us that it will be a ten minute job. Again over an hour was lost here. This resulted that we arrived at Lahia at 1830 hrs, since then the driver had to make up for the time lost. We did not manage to be there before sunset which was our main purpose of booking this costly accomodation. 3. On day three we had to change our plans because Moses did not agree to the plan as approved by yourself and we were in the middle of another miscommunication which effected our experience. We did not do the morning game drive and the driver wanted us to check out by 6/7 am leaving us with no time to enjoy the expensive lodge. We were only there for dinner and to sleep. Not even the use of pool was possible because as aforementioned we arrived at the accomodation very late and had to leave in the morning. We opted to leave at 10am because the day before ended up being too long because of the car incident. 4. At Lahia, during our dinner we informed them that we would not be there for lunch time and to have the lunch prepared for the following day. No lunch which was paid for was prepared and the accomodation only gave us a take out meal from the left overs of the breakfast.5. Last but not least, we had an angry driver the whole day on the third day because we opted not to leave the accomodation at 6am. This is unacceptable to say the least even because this change in plan was absolutely not our fault but a result of the incompetence of Blessings Safari to plan for us something which in reality could not be done. This not to mention the reckless driving of the driver during most of the trip and not even a word was uttered from his end all day long! 6. As you are also aware, we had a planned stop to have a quick shower. Moses told us I am going to give you one hour and we had to be back in the car. We still cannot understand why all this fuss when we got to the airport at approx 9:45 pm when not even the gate for check-in was open. Besides we had only eaten the breakfast take overs because there were no other stops for us to grab a meal. As you know, there are no food outlets at the airport downstairs. We paid Blessings Safari to have our mind at rest that we get the utmost from our experience. We are not on a Safari trip every day! This for some of us was an experience of a lifetime. Fact is, our experience has been tarnished. Hence, we think it is only fair that a compensation is given for the unnecessary costs endured but most of all for the bad experience that we had to endure. We expect feedback from the company within 15 days from this communication, after which we shall be taking the matter further followed by our reviews in all the travellers’ groups that we are members in. Blessing Safaris picked us up at the Kilimanjaro airport on 2 Land Cruisers, 4 on each vehicle, brought to our first lodging in Arusha, explained in detail the various day to day activities, schedules and places we'll be going. Elibariki and his staff, including our tour guides and drivers (Oscar and Moses) were very professional, helpful, easy to communicate with and reliable. The seven days we spent with Oscar and Moses guiding and driving us to Ngorongoro Crater, Central and Northern Serengeti, watching the wildebeest migration and visiting the Manyara National park were very enjoyable and pleasant. It was a pleasure having tour guides that were very knowledgeable of the places and wildlife in the park. I’m sure we worked on this for nearly a year. He was responsive to my every question. I know that I contacted him at times that were late in the evening for him, yet he always responded quickly. He listened and understood everything I ever asked. He recorded my requirements and preferences. We made revisions at times. These were always accurately captured and rolled into a planner file that fully documented our trip. We were blessed to get Mr. Zoya as our guide. Zoya has been guiding people in the Serengeti for 40 years. He is most knowledgeable and knows just about everyone out there. At nearly every stop someone was calling out his name, shaking his hand, or giving him a hug. He was entirely plugged in to communication throughout every part of our adventure by stopping to communicate with other drivers as we crossed paths. He knew where every animal we wanted to see was likely to be and demonstrated 100% success finding all that we asked.Our trip started in Arusha, went to Tarangire National Park where we stayed at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge. From there we went to Lake Manyara and enjoyed a night at Manyara Secret. After that we went to Ngorongoro Crater and stayed two nights at Ngorongoro Serena. The drive from there is about 5 hours over very rough roads, so while Mr. Zoya drove the vehicle ahead of us, we were dropped off at the Arusha airport and took a plane there. We had four days in the Serengeti. We stayed three nights at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge and one at Sametu. As we departed from our dear friend Zoya he took us to the airport where we flew to Zanzibar and stayed in an overwater bungalow at Konokono Isaraya. This was truly a magical experience that was executed without a flaw. This professionalism makes Blessing Safaris the truly excellent safari company that they are.
