The Park Hyatt Hotel is a large hotel, well situated on the beach front in Stone Town Zanzibar, a UNESCO world heritage site. As expected at larger, well-known hotel chains there is an excellent attention to details and an attentive, professional service.

It certainly isn’t a destination for those in search of barefoot luxury; it is a modern hotel, well equipped and designed for the traveler who enjoys creature comforts in a very Westernized hotel.
All of the guest rooms offer the finest services and facilities, as you would expect from a leading hotel chain. The rooms are large with spacious bathrooms and rain showers, each room with a private balcony.
Its biggest draw would be its wonderful location, situated on a prime waterfront position and it has been described as an oasis of calm in what can be a relatively chaotic city. There is a large terrace with a small, but well-maintained swimming pool that overlooks the Indian Ocean.
All activities in Zanzibar can be organized from Park Hyatt, which is conveniently located very centrally. So, whether it be a spice tour or colobus monkey spotting in Jozani Forest National Park that interests you, The Park Hyatt is a good base from which to explore the island and the various experiences that it has to offer!
The Park Hyatt can make for a good extension at the end of a Tanzania beach stay or combined with a Tanzania safari.
Especially if you are looking at exploring Stone Town specifically. Otherwise, we would recommend somewhere less commercial and with a lot more character.
