Selous River Camp
The camp is set overlooking the spectacular Rufiji river, within woodland commonly visited by (among other wildlife) three different species of monkey, herds of elephants, and a huge variety of birdlife. Being the closest camp to the park, located right on the border, means guests avoid long drives to the entrance gate.
The camp itself is down-to-earth and comfortable, the atmosphere is intimate and friendly and the service personal and professional. There is a choice of accommodation: nine “mudhut” style chalets, spread along the river bank; or further back in the forest, four basic tents.
